MI Team 2024 Complete Players List: In the buildup to the IPL 2024 auction, the Mumbai Indians (MI) made headlines by bringing back Hardik Pandya and ushering in a new era by ending Rohit Sharma's decade-long captaincy.
The strategic move caught some off guard, but MI seemed to have a clear plan when they acquired Hardik from the Gujarat Titans. Rohit Sharma first captained the team in 2013, when he took over the reins from Ricky Ponting mid-season. Hardik in his two seasons as captain for the Titans has played two finals, winning one.
The franchise accommodated the record addition of Pandya by releasing Cameron Green to Royal Challengers Bangalore. MI had bought Green at a hefty price tag of Rs. 17.5 crore last season.

Additionally, Sri Lankan right-arm slinger Nuwan Thushara and left-arm pacer Dilshan Madushanka were among the top buys for MI. The former Afghanistan captain, Mohammad Nabi, was also picked up by the Indians.
