Mumbai Indians Retained Players, WPL 2026 Auction: Mumbai Indians have started their preparations for the upcoming Women's Premier League 2026 season. They have announced their list of retained players ahead of the mega auction, with skipper Harmanpreet Kaur set to continue with the franchise.

Harmanpreet led the Mumbai Indians to the WPL titles in 2023 and 2025. They also have retained England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt and West Indies captain Hayley Matthews. The Blues have been the most consistent side in the history of the tournament so far.

Nat Sciver-Brunt is the highest run-getter in WPL history and also holds the record for being the only cricketer to score more than 1000 runs in the WPL. On the other hand, Hayley is the highest wicket-taker in WPL history. Apart from her bowling contribution, the West Indies cricketer also opens the batting for the Mumbai Indians.

In addition to the three international captains, MI have also have kept the services of the Indian all-rounder Amanjot Kaur and uncapped Indian batter Gunalan Kamalini.

As per the BCCI guidelines, a team can retain a maximum of three Indian capped players, two overseas players or two uncapped Indian players. If a team opts to retain the full quota of five players, at least one must be an uncapped player. A team retaining five players will have INR 9.25 crore deducted from its purse and will not be eligible for any RTM cards.
