Bumrah played his debut IPL match for the Mumbai-based franchise against RCB in 2013 and registered figures of 3/32 in the overs that he bowled. He got Virat Kohli ahead of the wicket and took his first wicket of this tournament.
Bumrah has taken two five-fors in this tournament and that is the most by any bowler. During IPL 2025, Bumrah was ruled out from the first four matches owing to a lower-back injury and thus made his comeback during their match against RCB in their backyard. But he went wicket-less in that game in the four wickets that he bowled.
