UP Warriorz raised their bid to Rs 1 crore, but RCB responded with an offer of Rs 1.05 crore. The Warriorz eventually secured Molineux for Rs 1.1 crore.

UP Warriorz entered the auction with Rs 3.75 crore remaining in their purse, the highest among the five franchises.

Sophie Molineux’s Recent Form And Injury Comeback

The Australian all-rounder missed the WPL 2026 season because of the injury. Her signing gives UP Warriorz an experienced player who can contribute with both bat and ball.
