Duleep Trophy 2025: Lucknow Super Giants' star batter Ayush Badoni is currently representing North Zone during the 2025 Duleep Trophy clash, and on the fourth and the last day of the first quarterfinal against East Zone, he smashed a double ton. Badoni, who is also the skipper of Delhi's Ranji Trophy team, needed 222 balls to score his double ton. He had smashed 12 fours and three sixes till now.

Baoni came into bat at the no.4 position during the second innings, where he first stitched a partnership of 150 runs for the third wicket with skipper Ankit Kumar, who had scored 198 runs off 321 balls, and then built a partnership of 157 runs for the fourth wicket with Nishant Sindhu.

Badoni's double ton helped North Zone dominate this match against East Zone. They had scored more than 830 runs, and they are on the verge of reaching the semifinals.

Badoni, who also plays for LSG during IPL, has played in 56 matches till now and has scored 963 runs. Badoni, who also leads Delhi's Ranji Trophy team, grabbed attention earlier this year as he also captained Virat Kohli during their Ranji Trophy match against Railways.

Kohli, who is one of the most successful Test captains of this country, had played in the domestic tournament after more than 10 years. But he had a forgetful outing with the bat. Delhi did win that match by an innings and 19 runs, where the star Indian batter could score just six runs off 15 balls.

It was his last match in the red-ball format because way back in May this year, he had announced his retirement from the longest format.
