New Zealand vs Australia 1st T20I: Australia achieved a unique and unwanted record during the first T20I match against New Zealand at the Sky Stadium in Wellington on Wednesday, February 21.
Australia became the first side in the T20I history to concede 200-plus totals in four consecutive matches. They achieved the feat after New Zealand posted a massive total of 215/3 in the first T20I match while batting first.
Ahead of the Wellington, Australia conceded 200-plus scores in all three T20I matches against West Indies at home.
Australia defeated West Indies in the first two T20I matches despite conceding 202 and 207 respectively. However, in the third and final T20I match Australia once again conceded 220 and suffered a loss this time by 37 runs.

Talking about the first T20I against New Zealand, the Aussie bowlers were smashed all over the park and also conceded 15 extras to add to the vows.
The Blackcaps posted a massive total on the back of batting brilliance from Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra.
Both batters smashed their respective half-centuries but Ravindra ended up as the top run-getter with 68 runs to his name in just 35 deliveries with the help of two fours and six sixes.

The hosts were off to a fiery start as Finn Allen and Conway stitched a 61-run opening stand in just 5.2 overs before the former was dismissed by Mitchell Starc.
Conway and Ravindra then stitched a 113-run partnership for the second wicket before getting dismissed in quick succession.
A 41-run partnership for the fourth wicket between Glenn Phillips and Mark Chapman saw the Blackcaps capitalise on the promising start they got.
For the visitors, Starc, Pat Cummins, and skipper Mitchell Marsh picked up a wicket each.
