PAK vs NZ 1st T20I Dream11 Prediction

Pakistan will be up against New Zealand in the first T20I at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Thursday, April 18.

Both the teams will kick off their T20 World Cup preparations and will look to build some good momentum before the mega event kicks off in June in the West Indies and the USA.

They faced off in a five-match T20I series earlier this year which the Kiwis won with a convincing lead of 4-1.

After their horrible performance in New Zealand, Shaheen Afridi was removed as Pakistan's captain just to bring back Babar Azam as the skipper.

This will be the first assignment for Babar after being re-appointed as Pakistan's white-ball captain.

He will also lead Pakistan in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

On the other hand, the prominent names for New Zealand are playing in the IPL 2024, hence, they have sent a second-string team for this tour.

Both teams have faced off in 39 T20I matches so far with Pakistan having an upper hand with 21 wins.

The Blackcaps are just behind with 17 victories to their name but have had a dominating record against Pakistan lately, having won six out of their last seven meetings.
