PBKS vs MI, IPL 2024: Rohit Sharma is all set to achieve a huge milestone when he will be taking the field for Mumbai Indians against Punjab Kings at the Mullanpur Cricket Stadium on Thursday, April 18.
Rohit will become only the second player after MS Dhoni to complete 250 appearances in the IPL history.
The former MI captain has an enormous record in the tournament and has been one of the legendary players to have graced the stage.

In 249 matches, Rohit has scored 6472 IPL runs at an average of 30.10 and a strike rate of 131.22, having played for just two franchises throughout his career.
The 36-year-old, who began his IPL journey with Deccan Chargers in 2008 has the record six titles under his belt, out of which five he won while captaining Mumbai Indians.
The Indian skipper also has two centuries and 42 fifties to his name in his IPL career and will be aiming to add more to his stats in the ongoing IPL 2024 season.
Rohit smashed a century, scoring an unbeaten 105 in Mumbai Indians' recent fixture of IPL 2024 against Chennai Super Kings which they went on to lose by 20 runs.
Earlier this season, Rohit became the first player to play 200 matches for Mumbai Indians and will achieve yet another milestone and join MS Dhoni in the elite list.

Notably, Rohit has been in sublime touch with the bat and is the top run-getter for MI in the tournament so far.
He has scored 261 runs in six matches at an average of 52.20 and a strike rate of 167.31.
The veteran batter was removed from the captaincy ahead of the IPL 2024 season as MI named Hardik Pandya as their new skipper.
After joining MI from Deccan Chargers in 2013, Rohit went on to become the first captain to lead a side to five IPL titles.

His record was equalled by MS Dhoni last year when he led CSK to their fifth title after a victory over Gujarat Titans in the final.
Apart from Rohit, veteran stars like Dinesh Karthik and Virat Kohli are also close to completing 250 matches in their respective IPL careers.
