PAK vs SL Tri Series: Babar Azam represented Pakistan against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi on Thursday. During the sixth match of the tri-series, Babar came out to bat at the No.3 position for the host but couldn't score a single run. Dushmantha Chameera took his wicket on the last ball. He dismissed him by LBW ahead of the wickets, and that's how he got out on a two-ball duck.
Both the team management and the fans expected a lot from him as he is their highest run-scorer in the shortest format.
This duck on Thursday was the tenth in this format, as he didn't even score one run.
With this, he has leveled the record of getting out on ducks the most in this format. Besides him, Umar Akmal and the youngster Saim Ayub have also got out on ducks 10 times each in the shortest format.

Sri Lanka's star all-rounder Dasun Shanaka has the record of getting out on ducks the most in the shortest format. He got out on a duck in 15 matches of 118 T20Is that he has played till now. Six players have been dismissed on 13 ducks in this format, whereas ex-India skipper Rohit Sharma ended his T20I career by getting out on ducks 12 times after playing in 159 T20I matches between 2007 and 2024.

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka in the final
Pakistan will lock horns with the same opponent in the summit clash of the ongoing tri-series in Rawalpindi on Saturday. Sri Lanka qualified for the final after defeating the host by six runs on Thursday. Sri Lankan opener Kamil Mishara scored a match-winning knock of 76 runs off 48 balls, and Kusal Mendis too scored a gritty knock of 40 runs.
While chasing, skipper Salman's unbeaten knock of 63 runs helped the team score 178 runs. Chameera took 4 wickets in as many overs and gave away 20 runs.
