GG Players List, WPL 2026 Auction: Gujarat Giants will be looking for a change of fortunes when they step up in the WPL 2026, having strengthened their squad with commendable additions in the mega auction that took place in New Delhi on Thursday. Having retained just two players in Ashleigh Gardner and Beth Mooney, GG have signed a legendary figure of Sophie Devine for a huge price of Rs 2 crore.
Gujarat also signed the former Royal Challengers Bengaluru pacer Renuka Singh Thakur for Rs 60 lakh in the first marquee set of players. They later used the RTM card to sign uncapped Indian batter Bharti Fulmali for Rs 70 lakh. On the back of Kashvee Gautam's addition, Gujarat bolstered their squad, making it one of the most exciting bowling units of the season.

England’s Danielle Wyatt-Hodge, Australia’s Kimberley Garth and India’s dependable wicketkeeper Yastika Bhatia are all set to add both stability and explosive potential. With strong domestic additions such as Tanuja Kanwer, Anushka Sharma, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Titas Sadhu, Kanika Ahuja, Ayushi Soni, Happy Kumari and Shivani Singh, the Giants have constructed a balanced squad ready to challenge for the title.
Ashleigh Gardner, who is GG’s highest run getter in WPL history, was retained for Rs 3.50 crore by the Ahmedabad-based franchise. She remains their costliest player in the side.
