Asia Cup 2025 Points Table: Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 11 runs in match 17 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday, September 25. This was the second last match of the Super Fours as well as the tournament.

Pakistan have made it to the final where they will face arch-rivals India on Sunday. This will be the first time ever that an India vs Pakistan match will take place in an Asia Cup final. This was Pakistan's second win in the Super Fours, having also defeated Sri Lanka in their previous fixture, whereas their only defeat came against India.

They are placed second in the Asia Cup 2025 points table in the Super Fours. The India vs Pakistan match will be played for the third time in this tournament, with the Men in Blue winning both the earlier face-offs.

Bangladesh suffered their second successive defeat and stand third in the standings with two points under their belt, whereas Sri Lanka are placed last. However, the Charith Asalanka-led side has a chance to finish third if they produce an incredible performance in their final match of the tournament. They will be up against India in match 18 in Dubai on Friday.

In yesterday's match, Pakistan restricted Bangladesh to 124/9 while defending their 135-run total. Shaheen Afridi was the pick of the bowlers for the Salman Agha-led side as he came up with three wickets for just 17 runs in his four overs. Haris Rauf also took three wickets, whereas Saim Ayub found a couple of scalps.
