Pakistan vs Bangladesh, Asia Cup 2025: Shaheen Afridi came up with a strong message for India as soon as Pakistan made it to the Asia Cup 2025 final with a remarkable victory over Bangladesh in Super Fours in Dubai on Thursday.
India vs Pakistan final will be played for the first time ever in the Asia Cup's history. The match will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, September 28.

In the match against Bangladesh, which was a must-win for Pakistan, left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi picked up 3 wickets for 17 runs in four overs. After winning the Player of the Match award in Pakistan's win in the low-scoring contest, Shaheen was asked about the final against India, and he fired a warning to the Suryakumar Yadav-led side by saying, "We are ready."

Pakistan restricted Bangladesh to 124/9 in their 20 overs while defending their 135-run total. This was Pakistan's fourth win overall in the ongoing tournament.

In the Group A match played on September 14, India secured a win by 7 wickets, and in the Super 4s match played on Sunday, September 21, India defeated the Men in Green by 6 wickets. The IND vs PAK final has witnessed an intense buildup so far, with a few controversies taking place ever since the conclusion of their first face-off.
Talking about Shaheen, the left-arm pacer is the third leading wicket taker with 9 wickets to his name in 6 matches.
