PAK vs BAN 1st T20I: Pakistan lost to Bangladesh by seven wickets during the first T20I on Sunday. In the match being held in Dhaka, the visitors posted a below-par target of 110 runs while batting first, and even though they took two wickets and conceded just seven runs in 2.2 overs, they couldn't defend the target of 111 runs.

Pakistan's Fakhar Zaman was the highest run-getter as he scored a gritty knock of 44 runs off 34 balls, in which he had smashed six fours and one six. He fell short of a well-deserved fifty as he was involved in a hilarious run-out with Khushdil Shah.

The incident occurred during the third ball of the 12th over. Khushdil, who was standing on the striker's end, smashed the ball and ran for a single. By completing one run, he tried to take another, but after he reached halfway, he changed his decision. Fakhar, who was standing at the other end, too, reached halfway, and when Khushdil denied him the run, he tried to go back. And even before he could return, Taskin Ahmed, who was standing at third man region, threw the ball towards wicketkeeper Litton Das, and he removed the bails.

Khushdil, who was responsible for Fakhar's dismissal, played 23 balls in his knock and had smashed one four and as many sixes and had scored 18 runs. He was batting at a strike rate of 78.06.

Taskin was the pick among the Bangladesh bowlers as he registered match-winning figures of 3/22, whereas Mustafizur Rahman took two wickets and gave away just six runs during the four overs that he bowled.

The visitors, who are without the services of senior players like Babar Azam, Mohammed Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Haris Rauf, will aim to make a comeback during the second match, which will be held next week.
