PAK vs WI 1st ODI: Pakistan's Shaheen Shah Afridi entered an elite club, which has the legendary Wasim Akram of the left-arm fast bowlers to have taken four or more wickets during the 50-over format in the Caribbean. The youngster had registered match-winning figures of 4/51 during the series opener in Tarouba on Friday and thus dismantled the West Indies' batting lineup and helped the visitors win the match by five wickets.

Shaheen had become the seventh bowler to have achieved this milestone, where Akram's 4/18 way back in 1993 is still considered one of the best bowling performances in the West Indies. Australia's Mitchell Johnson and Mitchell Starc are the only other left-arm fast bowlers to have taken a five-for in this format in the West Indies.
