PAK vs ZIM, 1st T20I: During the first T20I between Pakistan and Zimbabwe, which is being held in Bulawayo, Agha Salman, who is the stand-in captain for this series, won the toss and chose to bat first. This decision didn't go in their favor as while batting first, they could only post a target of 165 runs.

The Men in Green suffered a batting collapse as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. All eyes were on Agha Salman to go all-guns-blazing as he is the most experienced player in the team since they are without the services of Babar Azam and Mohammed Rizwan in this series. But Salma too had a forgetful day in the middle as he played a slow and scratchy knock.

Agha Salman fails to hit a boundary vs Zimbabwe

The stand-in captain was seen struggling and was dismissed after scoring just 13 runs off 19 balls without hitting any fours. Dion Myers deserves all the credit for taking a stunning low catch by diving and thus ending Agha's innings. This incident happened during the second ball of the 15th over.

Fans slam Pakistan batters for lack of intent

The Pakistan fans were left disappointed by their team's performance as the team management gave the youngsters a chance to play carefree cricket in the T20I series against Zimbabwe. But the batters didn't bat aggressively and instead used the defensive approach.

Batters like Usman Khan and Saim Ayub were slammed for their approach as they were expected to post a target of more than 200 runs in the series opener. Speaking about the match, Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 57 runs and is currently leading the three-match T20I series by 1-0.
