JE Sports Desk:  The chapter of Pakistan's travel to India has taken a new turn as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, has set up a committee in order to clarify whether their team will be traveling to the neighboring country for the upcoming ODI World Cup.

The committee will be headed by Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who will be making sure that they reach their objective of making recommendations about Pakistan's travel plans to India. Based on that, the Pakistan prime minister will sign off on the country's participation in the enormous tournament.

The committee will also look out for the decision on Pakistan's third league game against the hosts and arch-rivals India in Ahmedabad on October 15. The recommendations will also be made regarding their team's matches in the other four venues as well.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), in a letter sent last week, asked the government if it wanted to send a security delegation to India.

As per the schedule, Pakistan will be facing the Netherlands and Sri Lanka in Hyderabad, India in Ahmedabad, Australia and New Zealand in Bengaluru, Bangladesh and England in Kolkata, and Afghanistan and South Africa in Chennai.

The high-profile committee also consists of interior minister Rana Sanaullah and Law and Justice Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar with Ehsan ur Rehman Mazari, Maryam Aurangzeb, Asad Mehmood, Aminul Haque, Qamar Zaman Kaira, and Tariq Fatemi, the special assistant on foreign affairs to the PM, also part of the committee.

There is an appointment of members from different political parties as well by the government as the diverse representation could also promise no effect in the decision-making in case of a change in the government with the incumbent government having just 34 days left of its electoral term.
