RCB vs GT, IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans (GT) Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to bowl first against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match at the iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday.

Gujarat have been dealt a significant blow as their star pacer Kagiso Rabada will be unavailable for their upcoming match due to personal reasons.

Rajat Patidar's term as captain of Bengaluru began with two quick wins in IPL 2025. The RCB winning spree has now placed them at the top of the points table after achieving impressive wins away from home against Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings.

Gujarat Titans have started their IPL campaign on a mixed note, winning just one out of their two matches. After being defeated by Punjab Kings in their season opener, the Titans rebounded well in their next match, claiming a commendable victory over the Mumbai Indians.

Speaking at the time of toss, GT captain Gill said, " We'll bowl first. Looks like a good wicket. We've seen the conditions don't change much. We're all about reducing our unforced errors. We'll try to finetune the areas that need it. Kagiso misses out due to personal reasons so we've got Arshad Khan back."

RCB captain Rajat Patidar said, "Would've bowled first as well because it's a new surface. It's pretty hard and won't change much. The way boys are chipping in gives a lot of confidence as a captain. We love this crowd. The way they love us and the support we've always received is incredible. Same team."
