RCB vs GT, IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have kicked off their new campaign for IPL glory in impressive fashion with back-to-back wins over two tough opponents, Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings.

Off the field, batting stalwart Virat Kohli hosted his teammates over to his restaurant, where an impromptu meeting by chance with an CSK fan resulted in a situation that elicited some light humour and hearty laughter.

The funny reaction of Kohli has since gone viral, offering a glimpse into the camaraderie and banter that exists within the RCB camp.

As soon as Kohli walked into the restaurant, he looked around the hall and saw a fan wearing a CSK jersey with pride. Kohli cheekily pointed towards the fan, making the assembled RCB players and staff crack up with laughter.

As soon as Kohli spotted a CSK fan he was caught off guard by the unexpected presence of a rival team's supporter, former RCB skipper's instincts took over, prompting him to raise his right arm at the fan dramatically.

Meanwhile, the iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium is set for its first Indian Premier League (IPL) match of 2025, where home team Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take on Gujarat Titans (GT) on Wednesday.

The forthcoming match will be extra special to the Royal as they will be playing at home for the first time this season. Having gathered pride with two wins in their first two matches of the 2025 season, RCB will want to carry that momentum forward.

RCB's 2025 campaign has been characterised by victories over two of their rivals, Chennai and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

On the other hand, after facing a setback in the opening match against Punjab Kings (GT), Gujarat quickly recovered with a much-needed triumph over Chennai.

Wednesday's weather forecast shows moderate conditions in the city of Bengaluru for that day, especially from 7 PM till close to 11 PM, where temperatures will hover between 29 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively. Considering the chance of dew and high humidity levels, however, this may affect play very much. Forecasts predict humidity at about 40 per cent -61 per cent, which can manipulate the movement of the ball and the playing conditions.
