India's star batter Rinku Singh has reportedly gotten engaged to Samajwadi Party's MP Priya Saroj as per multiple reports on Friday. Although Rinku is an Indian batter, who represented the country in the smallest format, while Saroj is an MP and represents the Machhlishahr constituency of UP. Saroj, who is a law student, hails from a strong political family. She is Tufani Saroj's daughter, who has been a three-time MP and is currently the MLA of Kerakat in Jaunpur. Last year, Priya had beaten BJP's senior leader and became the country's youngest MP.

As per News24, Rinku got engaged to Priya and would be getting married soon. This news had sent the social media into a frenzy as the fans began congratulating the alleged couple.

"Congratulations Rinku Singh ji," a fan had written on his social media account, whereas the other wrote, "Congratulations bhai. Well done champ."

Rinku will next be seen in the five-match T20I series against England, which will be held next week.

Star pacer Mohammed Shami made a comeback to the national squad as the BCCI revealed the 15-member team for the T20I series against England.

The T20I series will start Kolkata in next week. The next two matches will be held on January 25 and 28 in Chennai and Rajkot. The fourth match will be held on January 31 in Pune. The fifth and the last match will be held in Mumbai on February 2.
