Rishabh Pant, India's star wicketkeeper-batter, is currently recovering from his foot injury, which he sustained during the five-match Test series in England. Pant had a memorable outing in England but missed the final Test, which India won.

While Pant's white-ball career is yet to be established, the 27-year-old will miss the upcoming Asia Cup due to the injury, and remains doubtful for the West Indies series to follow.
The Men in Blue will next be in action in the continental tournament, which is scheduled to be played in the UAE from September 9 to 28. On the other hand, the two-match Test series against the West Indies is scheduled to take place between October 2 and 14 in Ahmedabad and Delhi.
