IND vs AUS: India's ODI skipper Rohit Sharma has ended all the retirement speculations for now as he looked at his absolute best during a practice session, where he was seen flaunting the BCCI's logo on his helmet. The video had gone viral on social media, where Rohit was seen attending a practice session intensely and provided an update to his fans about his preparation for the ODI series against Australia.

The veteran batter would be making a comeback to international cricket after almost eight months, after announcing his retirement from the longest format and T20Is as well. Speculations are rife that the ODI series against Australia would be the last time that he would be seen in this format, but the captain looked match-ready and is looking forward to the white-ball series.

He would be leading the team from the front during the three-match series beginning from next month, and it will be the first time he will be playing for India after retiring from Test cricket. Both Rohit and Virat Kohli are part of India's ODI plans, and their participation in this series has resulted in rumours of this series being their last ahead of the 2027 ODI World Cup.

By putting these speculations to an end, their future in international cricket would depend on the board. Their form and fitness in the next few months would also play a huge role in determining whether the BCCI would want to continue with them or would eventually give chances to youngsters.
