RCB vs PBKS IPL 2025 Final: Royal Challengers Bengaluru's star all-rounder Tim David is not featuring during the IPL 2025 summit clash against Punjab Kings in Ahmedabad on Tuesday owing to an injury. He sustained an injury in their 13th group stage match against Surisers Hyderabad in Lucknow last month.
Owing to the injury, David had also given their clash against PBKS last week and in the first Qualifier against the same opponent in their backyard a miss.
RCB had roped in David for a whopping amount of Rs 3 crore during the mega auction last year and had smashed a fifty for the Bengaluru-based franchise during the group-stage clash against the same opponent in their backyard last month. He was adjudged the Player of the Match award for his unbeaten innings, despite RCB losing the rain-induced clash, as the overs were reduced to 14 for both teams.
RCB to bat 1st
For the summit clash of the ongoing season, the Rajat Patidar-led side would be batting first as the PBKS skipper won the toss and chose to bowl first. Both RCB and PBKS have fielded an unchanged playing XI.
The four overseas players that RCB have included in their playing XI are- Josh Hazlewood, Romario Shepherd, Liam Livingstone, and Phil Salt, meanwhile, PBKS have included- Josh Inglis, Marcus Stoinis, Azmatullah Omarzai, and Kyle Jamieson in their playing XI.
