SA vs AUS Day 2 Lord's Weather Update and pitch report: It was the bowlers, who dominated on the first day of the ICC WTC Final 2025 between Australia and South Africa, which was held at Lord's. Around 14 wickets were taken and 255 runs were conceded.

South Africa skipper Temba Bavuma won the toss and chose to bowl first and they skittled Australia out for 212 runs in 56.4 overs. Star fast bowler Kagiso Rabada registered brilliant figures of 5/51 whereas left-arm seamer Marco Jansen took three wickets and conceded 49 runs. Australia's star all-rounder Beau Webster was the highest run-getter as he scored 72 runs, whereas star batter Steve Smith scored a gritty knock of 69 runs.

While chasing a gettable target of 212 runs, South Africa ended the first day at 43/3 in 22 overs. Mitchell Starc took the wicket of both South African openers whereas Australia skipper Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood took one wicket apiece.

Rain didn't play a spoilsport on the first day of the ICC WTC Final 2025 between Australia and South Africa. The weather at Lord's on Thursday is a partly sunny and warm morning as per Accuweather.com, whereas the temperature would be around 23 degrees Celsius. There is a 12 percent chance of precipitation and the cloud cover would be around 92 percent.

And during the afternoon, the weather conditions would remain partly sunny and warm and there is a slight chance that rain might play a spoilsport. The precipitation at that time would be 55 percent and the humidity would be around 58 percent.

As far as the weather conditions in the evening are concerned, it would become a partly cloudy sky. The temperature would then range around 17 degrees Celsius. The chance of precipitation at that time would be low. The cloud cover would be around 26 percent whereas the humidity would be 71 percent.
