Big cricketing names are all set to be seen in the massive event of Anant Ambani's son's three-day pre-wedding festivities at Jamnagar in Gujarat.
Anant Ambani, who is the son of India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani is all set to marry Radhika Merchant with the duo already engaged in a traditional ceremony in January earlier this year.
They are expected to tie the knot in June or July.
A star-studded affair with leading figures from all quarters, including sports, business, politics, Bollywood, and Hollywood, among others would be gracing the occasion with their presence.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Dwayne Bravo, Zaheer Khan, etc. will mark their attendance at the enormous event.
Not just the Indian cricket fraternity, overseas players like Afghanistan's Rashid Khan and West Indies wicketkeeper-batter Nicholas Pooran also arrived at the airport as they headed to Jamnagar for the massive event.
While Rashid continues to recover from his injury and remains doubtful for the IPL 2024, Pooran has been appointed the vice-captain of Lucknow Super Giants for the upcoming season.
Multiple events have been organised at a wide level and international stars like Rihanna and J Brown are all set to perform at the event.
Mukesh Ambani’s wife, Nita Ambani, and their son, Akash Ambani, are the owners of five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians. Multiple names associated with the franchise have arrived for the event.
Notably, Sachin was the former Mumbai Indians captain and took the mentorship role after his retirement.
Hardik Pandya will be leading Mumbai Indians in the upcoming season as he was traded back to the franchise from Gujarat Titans.
He replaced Rohit Sharma for the leadership role, a decision which brought an end to the Indian captain's decade-long legacy as MI skipper.
While Rohit will return to lead the Indian side in the ongoing five-match Test series against England, a few other cricketers will return from their wedding and will gear up for the IPL 2024.
