Shoaib Malik made a change to his Instagram bio, an action that once again sparked speculations that it is not all well between the former Pakistan cricket captain and his wife Sania Mirza.

It was just a few months ago when a few claims were spread over social media regarding the couple's possible separation. However, things got normalised after that.

But a current development has once again brought the spotlight on the couple as Sania's name appears to be no longer on Shoaib's Instagram account as his wife. Malik was pointed out to have removed “Husband to a superwoman @mirzasaniar” from his bio and changed it to: “Father to One True Blessing.”

Several fans are speculating that the star couple may soon part ways.

Mirza and Malik got married in 2010. In 2018, the couple welcomed their son, Izhan Mirza-Malik.

The veteran cricketer wrote a heart-warming note for his wife Sania when she bid goodbye to Grand Slam tennis earlier this year.

Sharing a picture of Sania, the cricketer tweeted: “You are the much-needed hope for all the women in sports. Super proud of you for all you have achieved in your career. You're an inspiration for many, keep going strong. Many congratulations on an unbelievable career."

In reply, Sania said, “Thank you.” She also added a blush emoji to the post.

This came after a few heavy speculations in November last year that the relationship between Shoaib and Sania has gone sour with the couple thinking about getting divorced.

The couple, however, hosted "The Mirza Malik Show" for a Pakistani streaming platform even as the rumors swirled.

Earlier this year, in April, Shoaib had denied divorce rumours, citing a "busy schedule" for not being seen with Sania in the recent past.

Malik later said that all marriages go through ups and downs but denied that there was anything wrong in his relationship with Sania and confirmed that they were neither in any divorce process nor were they separated.
