The BCCI's Women’s Selection Committee on Friday announced the squads for the upcoming T20I series against England, as well as for the two Tests against England and Australia.

The Women in Blue will be hosting the England team for the three-match T20I series, which begins on December 6 with all the games scheduled to be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Harmanpreet Kaur will be leading the side with Smriti Mandhana as her deputy alongside.

India will have the experience of Deepti Sharma, Renuka Thakur, and Pooja Vastrakar whereas youngsters like Shreyanka Patil, Saika Ishaque, Kanika Ahuja, Titas Sadhu, and Minnu Mani are also included.

Yastika Bhatia and Richa Ghosh are the two wicket-keepers in both T20I and Test squad while regular players Jemimah Rodrigues, and Shafali Varma have also been named in the squad.

Sneh Rana, Harleen Deol, Meghna Singh, and Rajeshwari Gayakwad are the experienced campaigners who will take the responsibility in the longest format.

The T20I series will be followed by the only Test which begins on December 14 and will be played at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

India's next assignment will be against Australia as both teams will face off in the only Test which commences on December 21.

This will be followed by three ODIs and as many T20I matches. The squad for the white-ball series against Australia will be picked later.
