While the BCCI did not provide a timeframe for his recovery, Iyer might reportedly take around two months to gain full fitness before making his return to the cricketing field. During the three-match series in Australia, Shreyas scored 72 runs in two games, including a valiant 77-ball 61 in the second Adelaide ODI, during which he stitched a century stand with Rohit Sharma.
