Smriti Mandhana's Wedding Update: Music composer and Smriti Mandhana's fiancée, Palash Muchhal, was spotted at the Mumbai airport, marking his first appearance in public in the aftermath of the postponement of the couple's wedding on Monday. Palash was spotted walking out of the airport while being accompanied by his mother, among other family members. Notably, Palash did not speak anything but acknowledged photographers clicking his pictures.

Interestingly, since the postponement of the wedding ceremony, fans on social media have tried to 'speculate' the reasons behind the step. It is worth noting that Mandhana's father was admitted to the hospital on the day of the wedding after he complained of chest pain. The following day, Palash also got hospitalised, citing health reasons in Sangli before being transferred to Mumbai for further rest.

Officially, Mandhana's manager announced the wedding delay, citing health emergencies as the reason.

Couple Puts Up 'Nazar' Emoji On Instagram Bios:

Social media users have noted that both Mandhana and Muchhal have added the 'nazar' (evil eye) symbol to their Instagram bios. The wedding delay comes shortly after India's win in the ICC Women's ODI World Cup, where Mandhana played an important role.

"Smriti and Palash dono takleef mein hain... Palash dreamt of coming home with his bride. I had even planned a special welcome... Everything will be fine, shaadi bohot jaldi hogi," Palash's mother, Amita, told Hindustan Times.
