SRH vs PBKS, IPL 2024: Grace Hayden, the daughter of former Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden, was seen enjoying delicious Hyderabadi biryani. Grace is currently working as a sports presenter on Star Sports and had paid a visit to the famous ‘Paradise Biryani’ and tried some Biryani and Khubani-Ka-Meetha (a sweet dish, which is made from dried apricot). There were some SRH fans present at the restaurant, who helped her enjoy this delicious food.
"Biryani in Hyderabad is an emotion! Experience the essence of Hyderabad with #GraceHayden as she indulges in the iconic Hyderabadi Biryani alongside passionate @SunRisers fans!" The Pat Cummins-led side became the third team to have qualified for the IPL 2024 playoffs as their match against Gujarat Titans was abandoned due to incessant rains. The fourth and last team for the playoffs will be decided in the highly awaited clash between RCB and CSK on Saturday. LSG was eliminated from the race to playoffs despite beating MI by 18 runs on Friday due to their poor NRR.
How can RCB qualify for the playoffs?
Although CSK is considered the favourite to win the virtual knockouts, RCB still has a chance to qualify but it's not straightforward. If the match is completely abandoned without a ball being bowled then CSK would become the fourth team to have qualified for the playoffs as both the teams would share one point each. CSK will get 15 points whereas RCB will finish with 13 points after playing in 14 matches.
If RCB bats first and scores more than 200 runs, then they would need to beat CSK by 18 runs to qualify. At the same time, if the Faf Du Plessis-led side is chasing, then they will have to chase the target with 11 balls remaining, and that too if the target is 201 runs.
