After notching up a much-needed win in the 3rd T20I against West Indies in Guyana, Team India have kept their hopes alive after losing first two T20Is. Suryakumar Yadav, the enforcer-in-chief in the match, scored a quickfire 83 off 44 balls on a track that got tough to bat on in the 2nd innings. He got valuable support from youngster Tilak Varma who remained not-out on 49 to see India through.
Suryakumar and Tilak, who are also teammates for the IPL (Indian Premier League) franchise Mumbai Indians, shared a light-hearted conversation after the match. The senior T20 batter also invoked a dialogue from the famous Bollywood movie 'Andaz Apna Apna' during their interaction. In the video released by the BCCI, Tilak Varma asked Suryakumar Yadav how is he able to play shots over square leg on such slow pitches.
To which Suryakumar quipped - "Mera Sawaal Kuch Aur Tha Aapse. SAWAAL EK, JAWAAB DO (My question was something else. 2 answers in response to a single question.) Check out the video here:

Tilak went on to reveal what was happening in the middle. "The wicket was slow, so I thought that I would take some calculated risks, and bat long. I was also getting some loose balls and I allowed the ball to come on before playing the shots. I did not try to do much different," he said.
Suryakumar also praised the youngster for his 'matured' innings. He said:
"In my opinion, Tilak played a matured knock, considering the situation. Did you feel that when I told you that I will hit and you hold one end, that I am talking too much or something? Did you feel bad?" Suryakumar stated.
The teams will now leave for Florida, USA and play the last two matches of the series on 12 and 13 August respectively.
