Sydney Weather Update, India vs Australia 3rd ODI: Will Rain Pose Threat To Match Proceedings At SCG?

IND vs AUS 3rd ODI Weather Update: The third and final game of the three-match ODI series between India and Australia will take place at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday. Notably, the hosts have already secured the series 2-0 after back-to-back wins in Perth and Adelaide. In comparison to the first ODI, Team India posed a better challenge to the Aussies in the 2nd ODI as youngster Cooper Connolly helped them clinch a thriller by 2 wickets.

The first ODI was completely dominated by Australia as they secured a seven-wicket win, exposing India's preparedness on a bouncy track. The track also had some moisture due to incessant rain in Perth, which assisted pacers as they could seam the ball around.

So, how's the weather in Sydney? As per a report from ANI, it is bright and sunny at the moment.

Sydney Weather Forecast

As per the Accuweather website, the afternoon will remain sunny with no rain forecast during the match. The temperature is expected to stay around 16 degrees Celsius to 23 degrees Celsius. The humidity will be around 56-69 per cent.

The match is of consequence as the Gautam Gambhir-coached Indian team looks to avoid a 0-3 whitewash, which will certainly not look great, although the ODI World Cup is a good two years away.

To make matters worse, in the last five ODIs between India and Australia at the SCG, the 'Men in Blue' have won only once.

Skipper Shubman Gill and Kohli are both due for a big knock and Gambhir will expect both to fire in the final game.
