T20 World Cup 2026: Ex-skipper Graeme Cremer, who made a comeback to international cricket in October last year after seven years, has been included in Zimbabwe's team for the 2026 T20 World Cup. He returned to the national side in the tri-series against Pakistan, where he registered figures of 2/44 after bowling in seven overs in two matches.

Blessing Muzarabani, who gave the tri-series a miss owing to a back injury, is also a part of this team. Newman Nyamhuri is the only player to be dropped from this team.

Clive Madande, who had replaced Sean Williams for the Africa region qualifier, has been included in this team. He was the highest run-scorer for Zimbabwe as he had scored 152 runs after playing in 4 matches at a staggering average of 76.00 and a strike rate of 138.18.

Sikandar Raza will be leading the team, which also includes Richard Ngarava and veteran wicketkeeper-batter Brendan Taylor. Taylor also returned to the national side this year. He has featured in 13 T20Is and has scored 251 runs at a brilliant average of 22.81 and a strike rate of 144.25. He scored 123 runs against Botswana.

Muzarabani and Ngarava will be spearheading the bowling attack. Wellington Masakadza is the other spinner apart from Cremer.

Zimbabwe is put in Group B along with Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland, and Oman. They will lock horns with Oman in their tournament opener in Sri Lanka.
