India National Cricket Team vs Australian Men's Cricket Team Match
In a heartwarming gesture, Australian batter Travis Head dedicated his century against India in the ongoing second Test to his newborn son, celebrating the special moment in his personal life.
Additionally, Head paid a poignant tribute to his former teammate and friend, the late Phil Hughes, as he reached the milestone against India at the Adelaide Oval on Saturday.
Head struck a landmark third century in a day-night Test when he reached the 100-run mark in just 111 deliveries with the help of 11 fours and three sixes into his innings.
Interestingly, Head also created a record for himself as he surpassed his own previously set record of 112 balls in attaining a century during day-night Tests, set against England in Hobart in 2022.
Pushed by a need for momentum after the Australian side lost two early wickets in the morning session, both Nathan McSweeney and Steve Smith, Head walked to the crease, ready for the mission challenge.
That's for baby Harrison!

He steadied the ship and gave it a much-needed boost to the Australian innings as it all unfolded around him. He completed his century in 111 deliveries, but he would always remember this milestone because, for all its significance, his family was present in the stadium.
He gestured affectionately toward his wife and newborn son while celebrating his hundred with a tap on the stomach and a cradle with the bat wonderful tribute to his dear ones. Meanwhile, Head and his wife Jess welcomed their second child last month.
