IND vs PAK ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is not just known for his brilliant batting abilities but for funny on-field incidents as well. In the high-octane clash against arch-rivals Pakistan in Dubai, the fans saw another funny incident, which grabbed everyone's attention.
A video had gone viral, where Rohit Sharma was seen getting involved in hilarious stump-mic banter with Kuldeep Yadav. This incident occurred when Kuldeep confidently requested Rohit to take the DRS due to an LBW appeal against Khushdil Shah during the 41st over.
Rohit, who usually trusts his bowlers, took the review. When the final decision came, Rohit was heard saying, "Tu gaya beta aaj…" (You're done for today, buddy) on the stump mic.
The DRS decision did prove the on-field umpire's call right and that meant that the batter wasn't out but the Rohit Sharma-led side did retain their review.

The LBW appeal happened when Kuldeep bowled an around-off-stump delivery and that angled in. Khushdil Shah tried to play a reverse sweep but mistimed the shot and the ball hit his front pad. Kuldeep did look confident about this appeal and thus urged Rohit to take the review. In the replay, it was shown that there was no bat involved and that the ball had just touched the leg stump, and that led to the umpire's call being proved right.
Kuldeep Yadav impresses with the ball
Irrespective of this funny incident, Kuldeep Yadav did put up a brilliant performance as he took three wickets and piled pressure on the Mohammad Rizwan-led side. Initially, during the innings, the Men in Green were seen struggling as Babar Azam could score just 23 runs and Imam-Ul-Haq scored 10. But Mohamad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel helped the team bounce back by stitching a gritty partnership of 104 runs but then Axar Patel got Rizwan out for scoring 46 runs and Shakeel was dismissed after scoring 62 runs.
Speaking of the game, Pakistan was 240/8 after 49 overs, where Khushdil Shah and Haris Rauf were out there in the middle.
