PBKS vs RR IPL 2026: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi hammered a hundred off 36 balls during the IPL 2026 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad last week, but the Rajasthan Royals failed to defend a mammoth 228-run target at home. After Vaibhav became the first batter to score two IPL centuries in fewer than 40 balls, Nauman Niaz, a Pakistan cricket expert, claimed the youngster had used an AI chip in his bat, allegedly enhancing his aggression.

Following the attention Nauman's statement drew in India, Vaibhav decided it was time to set the record straight.

RR posted a video on their official social media, addressing rumors about an 'AI chip in a bat,' where Sooryavanshi responded emphatically.

Continuing his run as the Orange Cap holder, the Samastipur youngster revealed in the video that his bat's power was attributed to divine intervention rather than technology, emphasizing he was only using the bat provided to him.

“Bhagwan ne laga ke diya hai. Upar he bola tha ki bat mein tumhare kuch laga ke de raha hu, ussi ka istemal kar raha hu (God has put something in it (bat)). He had already said from above that I’m giving you something in your bat — I’m just using that," Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was heard as saying in a video posted by Rajasthan Royals on their official X account.
