Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025: Star India batter Rohit Sharma took a stunning catch while standing at first slip in the Vijay Hazare Trophy clash against Uttarakhand. Fans turned up in huge numbers to watch Rohit bat again, but were disappointed as he got out on a golden duck.

But after getting out early, Rohit entertained the fans by taking a stunning catch while standing at first slip. He took Kamal Singh's catch, who got an outside edge, and helped the team get their first breakthrough. When Rohit took the catch in Shardul Thakur's over, the fans went berserk.

He got out for a golden duck in the match against Uttarakhand. Rohit got out on the first ball bowled by Devendra Singh Bora as he tried to play his famous pull shot.

As per reports, lots of fans left the venue after Rohit got out. The stadium fell silent when the fielder took his catch.

A few fans also thought that it was a no-ball and asked the umpire for a review so that they could watch him bat again.

After Rohit got out, Mumbai showed off their batting skills and posted a mammoth target of 331/7. When both openers Rohit and Angkrish Raghuvanshi (11 off 20) got out early, both Sarfaraz Khan (55) and Musheer Khan (55) built a partnership of 106 runs for the third wicket.

And then Hardik Tamore (93* off 82) and Shams Mulani (48 off 35) took the team's target to more than 330 runs. Devendra Singh Bora (3/74) took a three-wicket haul.
