Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have announced the birth of their second child in a heartfelt post on Tuesday. Their second child is a baby boy as the couple have decided to name him 'Akaay'. Check out the full post here:

Her note read, “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika’s little brother into this world! Earlier, In January 2024, Kohli's RCB teammate AB De Villiers was the one confirmed the reports when he said on his YouTube channel, “Yes, his second child is on the way. Yes, it’s family time and things are important to him. If you are not true and genuine to yourself, you lose track of what you are here for. I think most people’s priority is family. You can’t judge Virat for that. Yes, we miss him, but he has made the right decision.” However, he soon shot them down."

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's first child, a daughter named Vamika, was born in January 2021.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2017 after a period of dating, opted for a private announcement this time, waiting until the birth of their child to share the joyful news with their fans and well-wishers.
