Virat himself contributed with the bat as he played a gritty knock of 76 runs and helped India reach the mammoth total of 421 runs on the back of centuries from skipper Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Jaiswal became the 17th Indian batter to score a century on his Test debut and went on to play a marathon innings of 171 runs.
Kishan, on the other hand, managed to take two catches behind the wickets and also got off the mark with the bat in Test cricket, scoring 1 run before Rohit decided to declare the innings.
The wicketkeeper-batter was seen very active behind the stumps along with Virat at first slips, quoting some funny things that were recorded on the stump mic.
Kishan became part of another viral moment when he was given an angry look and gesture by Rohit from the dressing room, suggesting him to get off the mark in Test cricket quickly.
The left-handed batter had played 19 balls without scoring a run before Rohit lost his cool and angrily gestured for him to score a run.
Talking about the match, West Indies were proved to be too ordinary for the Indians as the loss was always coming once they were bowled out for just 150 runs in the first innings.
Ravichandran Ashwin did what he does best in the longer format as he took five wickets in the first innings and seven in the second innings o finish the game with 12 wickets.
Jaiswal was adjudged as Player of the Match for his remarkable effort with the bat in his very first match.
