RCB vs GT IPL 2026: Royal Challengers Bengaluru's star batter Virat Kohli has become the first batter to smash 800 fours in tournament history. He achieved this milestone in the IPL 2026 match against the Gujarat Titans on Friday. Kohli hit his first four during Kagiso Rabada's over. With that shot, he accomplished another career feat. In the list of most fours in tournament history, Shikhar Dhawan (768) tops the list, followed by David Warner (663) and Rohit Sharma (653). Kohli also became the first batter to hit 300 sixes for one team, achieving this for the Bengaluru-based franchise.
Speaking of the game, Sai Sudharsan played a brilliant knock and helped the Shubman Gill-led side post a mammoth target of 205 runs in Bengaluru. He scored 100 runs off 58 balls. Sudharsan emphasized his knock was about finishing brilliantly and bouncing back to form.
"It was always coming. I was touching the ball well in the last few innings and was really grateful to God. Really happy to contribute to the team. I think with the level of communication we understood it was two-paced and sticky, and it was an instinct to take the game deeper", Sai Sudharsan told broadcasters during the post-match presentation.

He struggled early as Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood found movement and got his outside edge with their bounce. Sudharsan was fortunate to smash a four, which helped him settle in. After the pitch conditions improved, he went all guns blazing. He hit fours consistently and smashed his first six in the fifth over.
He performed well during the power play, scoring 41 runs off 27 balls and helping the team reach 57 runs. He continued smoothly during the middle overs. Sudharsan batted aggressively, rotated the strike brilliantly, and brought up his fifty off 33 balls. He then took Romario Shepherd and Krunal Pandya to the cleaners.
