Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Afghanistan's star opener has made a revelation that he continuously takes batting tips from the likes of India’s star batter Virat Kohli and the former Indian captain MS Dhoni to grow as batter.
Gurbaz was recently part of the T20I series between India and Afghanistan which was won by the latter 3-0 but he had a disappointing outing with the bat in their first two matches.
He scored just 37 runs in the first two matches as he failed to provide his side impactful starts but when the opportunity arose again in the dead rubber third T20I, Gurbaz fired on all cylinders to help the visitors match the mammoth total of 212 posted by India.

The match ended in a tie before the result emerged in India's favor after two super overs.
The opener smashed a stellar fifty off just 32 balls, stitching a defining 93-run opening stand with skipper Ibrahim Zadran.
“I always talked to Virat and MS Dhoni about how to improve my cricket. I have a lot of things in my mind and I have to work on it. I was talking to Virat (bhai) about my cricket journey and how I should grow, and reach the next level," Gurbaz was quoted by ANI as saying.

There were major learnings for the visitors but they couldn't resist the complete 3-0 whitewash.
“It was a good learning for us. This kind of game can happen. We also enjoyed the game and learned a lot from it. Playing against players like Virat and Rohit Sharma gave us a lot of confidence and learning. I hope we get a lot of series against India in the future,” Gurbaz exclaimed.
“We put our all in the World Cup and it was a hard-fought competition. There are some places we need to improve. I hope next time we will not make these kind of mistakes,” he added.
After successful outings in the shortest format against Australia, South Africa, and Afghanistan, the Indian team will turn their attention towards the Test format.
India will face England in the five-match Test series at home which begins on January 25 with the first Test scheduled to be played in Hyderabad.
