Ranji Trophy 2025: India's star batter Virat Kohli made a heartwarming gesture for Delhi's star Shivam Sharma as he took a five-for against Railways and helped the team win the match on Saturday. The hosts had won the match by an innings and 19 runs.
Kohli's comeback to Ranji Trophy didn't go as per plan as he got out after scoring just six runs by Himanshu Sangwan. But the other batters rose to the occasion as Ayush Badoni scored a match-winning knock of 99 runs as Sumit Mathur performed brilliantly with the bat and ball. He took three wickets during the first innings and then scored a gritty knock of 86 runs and thus won the player of the match award. There was one more player, who shone brightly and it was Shivam as he dismantled Railway's batting lineup in the second innings.
Shivam then took to his Instagram account and revealed the special gift he got from Kohli due to his match-winning performance during the second innings. Kohli had signed Shivam's match ball and the youngster got excited with his gesture.
