IND vs BAN, 2nd Test: India's star batter Virat Kohli was seen talking in fluent Bengali while endorsing Bangladesh's all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz's bat. The cricketers of both teams were seen interacting with each other after the two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh ended and they were talking about a bat manufacturer. A video went viral on social media, where Mehidy Hasan asked Virat Kohli to say something about the quality of the bats.

The Bangladeshi all-rounder shared that Kohli used to enjoy playing with the bats made by this manufacturer.

While replying to Mehidy, Virat Kohli talked in Bengali and said, "MKS bat, Khoob Bhalo Achchi" (MKS bat, it is very good)". Mehidy was left stunned watching Kohli talk in Bengali.

"Very good bat, keep doing the good work. You make very good-quality bats. Continue this work and provide cricketers with quality bats," Kohli was heard saying in the video while talking about the manufacturer.

After spending time with Virat Kohli, Mehidy Hasan Miraz also met Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and he gifted the bat from the same manufacturer to him as well. Rohit wished him luck and revealed that Mehidy began this company with his friends.

"I’ve known Mehidy for a long time. He is a very good cricketer, and I am proud of him for starting his own bat company with some friends. I wish him all the best; may God grant him success. I hope this company rises above the rest," Rohit was heard saying in the video.

The Rohit Sharma-led side had beaten Bangladesh 2-0 in the recently concluded Test series and are inching closer to qualifying for the WTC final. Rain played a spoilsport in the second Test match between India and Bangladesh in Kanpur for two and a half days but despite all of that the Men in Blue thrashed Bangladesh by seven wickets.

The Rohit Sharma-led side played aggressive cricket and led the match towards the fourth day. They posted a target of 285 runs in 34.4 overs and broke a plethora of records like they became the fastest team to score 50, 100, 150, 200, and 250 runs in the longest format. The Bangla Tigers were outplayed in all the departments in both the matches at the Chepauk and the Green Park stadium.

Both the teams will now lock horns for a three-match T20I series, which will begin later this week. Veterans like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli won't be a part of this series as they announced retirement from T20Is after winning the T20 World Cup earlier this year. Suryakumar Yadav would be leading the team from the front in the three-match T20I series against the Bangla Tigers.
