India Tri-Series Schedule: The women's teams of India, Sri Lanka, and South Africa will be playing a tri-nation series beginning on April 27, Sunday. All the seven matches would be held at the R Premadasa stadium in Colombo. All three teams would be playing four matches each and then the summit clash would be held on May 11, Sunday.
The BCCI had already revealed the squad for the tri-nation series with left-arm spinners Shuchi Upadhyay, and Shree Charani, and pacer all-rounder Kashvee Gautam receiving their maiden India call-up. Players like Yastika Bhatia and Sneh Rana have also been called back to the sides.
Chamari Athapaththu will be leading the Sri Lankan women's team from the front and has given uncapped spinner Malki Madara a maiden call-up. Other uncapped players like Piumi Wathsala and Dewmi Vihanga have also received maiden call-ups.
Protea wicket-keeper Korabo Meso, spinner Seshi Naidu, and all-rounder Mian Smit have also got their maiden ODI call-ups. Marizanne Kapp has been dropped from this series as she is gearing up for future tours and the upcoming Women's ODI World Cup, which will be held in India.
