World Test Championship Points Table: India moved to the second spot in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 points table with a 106-run win against England in the second Test in Visakhapatnam on Monday.
India dropped to fifth place from second after the 28-run loss against England in Hyderabad in the series opener. With a series-levelling win, the Rohit Sharma-led side has reclaimed their second spot in the WTC standings issued by the International Cricket Council (ICC) after the conclusion of the match.
Australia continue to lead the table with 55 win percentage while South Africa, New Zealand and Bangladesh take the third, fourth and fifth spots respectively.

The defeat against India has dragged England to the eighth spot behind Pakistan (sixth) and West Indies (seventh) respectively.
Coming back to India's win, three wickets each from Ravichandran Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah wrapped England's innings for 292 in 399 chase. India had the upper hand on the fourth day of the match as they scalped nine wickets before the lunch was called.
Axar Patel provided the first breakthrough of the day with nightwatchman Rehan Ahmed's (23) dismissal while Ashwin got hold of two pricey wickets of Ollie Pope (23) and Joe Root (16) to further break the back of England's batting.

Spinner Kuldeep Yadav bagged Zak Crawley's (73) dismissal to leave England half down while Shreyas Iyer's direct hit ended Stokes' (16) knock and dented England's hope of any comeback in the game.
Bumrah removed Ben Foakes (36) to leave England without any designated batting option. Pacer Mukesh Kumar also tasted success with the wicket of Shoaib Bashir (0) before Bumrah had the final laugh in the day.
Bumrah picked nine wickets in the match and was named Player of the Match for his performance.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, who struck the double ton in the first innings, leads the run chart in the series with 321 runs from four innings while Bumrah stays at the top of the wicket-taking list with 15 wickets.
The third Test between India and England will be played in Rajkot from February 15.
