WPL 2026 Auction 9 Days To Go: The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2026 mega auction for the upcoming 4th edition will take place on November 27 in New Delhi.

The dates for the tournament start haven't been decided yet, but according to the reports, the 2026 season of the Women's Premier League (WPL) is likely to begin in early January, with a final decision on venues set to come soon.

Taking to their official X account, WPL posted a 10-day countdown, "Days to Go. The countdown to #TATAWPL Mega Auction has begun. Catch the #TATAWPLAuction 2026 on November 27 on http://WPLT20.COM"

In the mega auction, each franchise will build a squad of up to 18 players. A total of 73 slots have been vacant, including 23 overseas places.

UP Warriorz will head into the auction with the biggest purse of Rs 14.5 crores, followed by Gujarat Giants at Rs 9 crores. RCB will have a purse of Rs 6.15 crores while the Mumbai Indians have funds remaining worth Rs 5.75 crores.

Two-time winners Mumbai Indians will be the defending champions of WPL 2026, having beaten Delhi Capitals in the final earlier this year.
