WPL Auction 2026 Player List: WPL 2026 Auction is all set to take place on November 27, as all five times gear up for the action in the next season, but before that, they will shift their focus to bolstering their respective squads. The list of retained and released players included plenty of surprises.

While big names like Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur, Shafali Verma and Jemimah Rodrigues were retained by their respective teams, Deepti Sharma, the Player of the Tournament at the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025, was released by UP Warriorz. With an aim to come up with a fresh start and strengthen their setup in the mega auction, UP retained just one player. They will have the maximum purse of INR 14.5 crore along with four RTMs. Giants will have three RTMs restricted to only Indian players and a purse of INR 9 crore, while RCB will have one RTM and INR 6.25 crore.

Notably, the teams that retained fewer players will have more Right-to-Match (RTM) options and a larger purse going into the mega auction. All teams will have a combined purse of INR 41.1 crore to spend at the 2026 WPL auction.
