WPL Auction 2025 Date and time, live streaming channel, and TV telecast: The third edition of the Women's Premier League auction is slated to be held on December 15 in Bengaluru ahead of the next season. There are just 19 slots available in this mini-auction and just five spots are up for grabs for overseas players.

Gujarat Giants will be entering the auction with the biggest purse of Rs 4.4 crore and will try to fill four seats and of these two are reserved for overseas players. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals, who were the runners-up in the last two seasons, would be entering the auction with a purse of Rs 2.5 crore. They too are planning to fill four seats and of these one has been reserved for overseas players.

When and where is the WPL auction being held?

The 2025 WPL auction will start at 3:00 p.m. IST on December 15, Sunday in Bengaluru.

How many players are available in the WPL auction 2025?

About 120 players and if these 29 overseas players have made it to the final list of the mini-auction. There are just 19 slots up for grabs as all five teams retained their core players last month. This list includes 91 Indian players and 29 overseas stars and of these three are from Associate teams.

Where can we watch the WPL auction 2025?

The WPL 2025 mini auction would be telecasted live on Star Sports network and it would be livestreamed on the Jio Cinema app.

Since the IPL 2025 is all set to begin on March 14 next year, the BCCI is in search of a three-week window to organize the third season of the WPL during the third week of January next year. Although the official date and venue haven't been announced yet.
