WPL Auction 2026: Some of the biggest names of the cricketing world, Laura Wolvaardt and India's World Cup hero Deepti Sharma, will go under the hammer at the WPL auction here on Thursday, with bidding wars also expected for the national and international talents.

A total of 277 players will go under the hammer -- 194 Indian and 83 overseas -- will be part of the first-ever mega auction. The five teams will look to fill a maximum of 73 slots, including 50 Indians and 23 overseas. The minimum squad size is 15, and the upper limit is 18.

Having retained just one player, UP Warriorz have the highest purse -- 14.5 crore -- going into the auction while Delhi Capitals have the least money -- 5.70 crore.

The WPL 2026 Auction will take place on Thursday, November 27 in Delhi from 3.30 PM onwards.

The mega event will be streamed live on JioHotstar App and website while the live telecast will be helmed by Star Sports Network.
