The explosion in front of the Red Fort shook the entire nation. A horrific blast occurred in the country's capital after 14 years, in which many people lost their lives. New revelations are emerging daily regarding the Delhi blast. Now, this terrorist attack has been linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).

According to intelligence sources, Jaish spent Rs 20 lakh to spread a web of terror in India. This money was sent to three suspected doctors, whose names include Umar, Muzammil and Shaheen.

Amount Sent Via Hawala

According to information received by intelligence agencies, this amount was sent from Pakistan to India via Hawala. A Jaish-e-Mohammed handler gave the money to the three doctors through the Hawala network to plot the terrorist conspiracy. Investigating agencies are now trying to trace the Hawala network.

Explosives Worth Rs 3 Lakh Purchased

Out of the Rs 20 lakh, the suspected doctors spent Rs 3 lakh to purchase 26 quintals of NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium) chemical. Typically, this chemical is used as fertilizer for farming. However, it can also be used to make explosive material.

According to sources, a dispute began between Shaheen and Umar over the remaining money. However, the mastermind of this entire conspiracy was Dr Muzammil. Delhi Police, citing sources, has confirmed that 3 cartridges (including 2 live rounds), a 9mm caliber weapon, and a gun were recovered from the blast site.

Police Statement

Police say that such cartridges are used by security forces or by a few limited individuals with special permission. No pistol was found at the blast site. Out of the 3 cartridges, 2 were live and 1 was empty. This indicates that while the cartridge was found, the gun from which it was fired has not yet been recovered.
