In a shocking incident reported from the Jyoti Nagar area, a 15-year-old boy was brutally stabbed to death by two minor brothers following a dispute that broke out inside a mosque. The victim, identified as Al Faiz, was attacked in an alley on Friday night.
The Incident And Motive
According to the police, the sequence of events began on Friday evening when Al Faiz and the accused also minors were offering prayers (namaz) at a local mosque. A dispute erupted between them, leading to the accused threatening to "deal with him outside."
During interrogation, the apprehended minors confessed that the attack was a result of this altercation.
Timeline Of The Murder
9:00 PM: Al Faiz returned to his home in Kardampuri and had dinner with his family.
10:30 PM: A friend named Aman arrived at the house and forcibly took Al Faiz along with him. Reportedly, Aman bolted the victim's door from the outside as they left.
The Attack: About 100 metres from his residence, Al Faiz was confronted by the minor he had argued with, who was accompanied by his elder brother. Upon seeing the victim, the duo launched a frenzied attack, stabbing him 12 times across his waist, stomach, hands, and face.
Aftermath And Arrests
In a panic after injuring Al Faiz, the accused initially took him to a private clinic but fled shortly after. Local residents subsequently rushed the victim to GTB Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Police Action: The Jyoti Nagar police utilized CCTV footage to identify and track the attackers. Both accused were apprehended.
Injuries To Accused: During the frenzied attack, both accused accidentally injured their own hands with the knife. They are currently undergoing treatment at GTB Hospital.
Charges: A case has been registered under several sections, including murder.

Victim Profile
Al Faiz lived in Kardampuri with his parents, a sister, and a brother. His father, Abrar, is an auto-rickshaw driver. Al Faiz was a student preparing for his tenth-grade exams through correspondence.
Official Statement
Deputy Commissioner of Police, North East District, Ashish Mishra said,"Two accused have been apprehended. The role of other individuals is also being investigated."
